In August 2020 I had ‘radiosurgery’ treatment for a CRC metastasis in my liver. It was quite large when detected in December 2019 but six months of chemotherapy, mainly with panitumumab (Vectibix), had shrunk it to not much more than a centimetre. The radiotherapy was supposed to finish it off. (I won’t be able to have a scan until next month, December 2020, to see if it’s gone.)
This post is just to show you the very impressive machine that delivers the treatment. It’s called CyberKnife, which is a bit silly, as the point is that it performs ‘surgery’ without a knife.
